Media Accreditation for 2025 FIL Luge World Championships in Whistler, B.C.
WHISTLER, B.C.—In one month’s time, Team Canada will host more than 150 of the best luge athletes representing 25 countries at the Whistler Sliding Centre for the 53rd FIL Luge World Championships, February 6-8, 2025.
Luge Canada is now accepting applications for media accreditation to attend the event by RSVP’ing to Chris Dornan at uccepuevf@funj.pn. All applications must be submitted by January 30 to ensure access to the Whistler Sliding Centre, and parking during event week.
Athletes will battle it out for the title of king and queen of luge in the most prestigious event on the international calendar in a non-Olympic year. The action-packed week will feature a track full of activities including entertainment, local food options, beer gardens and so much more for the whole family to enjoy!
Be trackside to check out these athletes who will reach speeds up to 130km/hour while sliding down the high-banked corners of the world-renowned Whistler Sliding Centre.
