CANADA'S ELITE LUGE ATHLETES BACK ON TRACK IN CALGARY TO PREPARE FOR WORLD CUP TEAM SELECTION TRIALS

Canadian Luge Association holds selection race October 25-26, 2008 at C.O.P.Canada's elite male and female luge athletes invite national media to observe their final training sessions on Thursday before competing in the World Cup Team Selection Trails at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, October 25-26, 2008.

Returning from their first full-week of on-ice training at the Whistler Sliding Centre last week, Canada's top high-performance luge athletes will hit the Calgary track from 9-10:30 a.m. on October 23.

It will be the first and final on-ice media availability for the Canadian Luge Team in Calgary before the holiday break in the World Cup circuit. Following the weekend selection races the team will head to Lake Placid, N.Y. to prep for this year's World Championships.
