Canadian National Luge Team Returning to Calgary

Canada Luge - Media ReleaseCanada's National Luge Team is enroute home to Calgary after a grueling, but very successful, five week World Cup and World Championship Tour at five tracks throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The team will be arriving at Calgary International Airport February15, 1999 Air Canada Flight 845 - Scheduled to land at 3:45 PM. Team will exit out of Canada Customs on the Arrivals Level. Athletes will be available for media interviews. Canada's National Team has had its best overall results in both Senior and Junior World Cup and World Championship events under the leadership of new head coach Maria Luise Rainer, of Italy.
