CANADIAN LUGE ASSOCIATION TO KICK OFF INTERNATIONAL TRAINING WEEK IN WHISTLER BY NAMING WORLD CUP TEAM

Media luncheon set for Whistler Sliding Centre November 10 at 11:30 a.m.The Canadian Luge Association are pleased to invite news and sports reporters to a media luncheon, November 10, 2008, to officially introduce Canadian athletes that will compete on the 2008-09 World Cup circuit.

Canada's high-performance luge athletes are sliding into the Whistler Sliding Centre, November 10-16, to participate in international training week for the world's best lugers. The venue will be closed to public during this training week period.

The media conference will commence at 11:30 a.m., at men's luge start of the Whistler Sliding Centre. Access to the event area must be facilitated by the venue transportation system.
