Canadian luge athletes hit track at Whistler Sliding Centre for Youth and Junior Canadian Championships
WHISTLER, B.C.—Canada’s next generation of Olympic luge athletes will compete for national youth and junior titles at the Fast Track Canadian Championships at the Whistler Sliding Centre over the next two weeks.
More than 40 athletes from Alberta and British Columbia, between the ages of 7-16, will hit the start house on February 26 at 12 noon.
The nation’s top junior athletes, ages 17-20, will vie for national men’s and women’s crowns on March 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Canada’s high-performance luge athletes will take two trips down the Whistler track in their quest to secure the national title.
