Top Sliders Set to Battle for King and Queen of Canadian Luge
WHISTLER, B.C.—The trick or treating will have to wait for Canada’s top luge athletes as they will be racing for the title of King and Queen of Canadian luge at the Canadian Championships at 9 a.m. on Halloween in Whistler, B.C.
The Canadian Championships will include the nation’s top male and female athletes, including a deep crop of rising stars from the host province on Canada’s west coast, racing head-to-head down the Olympic Track at the Whistler Sliding Centre.
Canada’s high-performance luge athletes will each take two trips down the track in their quest to secure the national title.
